Master Blacksmith and Wagon Inspector Shines at Yakutia Railways
In the heart of Siberia, Radion Sharinu, a resident of the Megino-Kangalassky district, has carved out a unique and remarkable career for himself. Born and raised in the village of Meljexi, Sharinu's journey has taken him from forestry to railways, and even to the realm of traditional blacksmithing.
Five years ago, Sharinu joined Yakutia Railways as a 2nd class fitter. His dedication and skill quickly caught the attention of his superiors, who praised the organization's efficiency, the variety of corporate events, and the opportunities for career growth. Today, he stands as a wagon inspector-repairman at PTO station Nizhnii Bestyakh, a role that requires meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of metalworking.
At the PTO station, Sharinu's responsibilities include monitoring the technical condition of wagons, timely detection and elimination of malfunctions, and preparing rolling stock for operation. His work ensures the comfort and safety of passengers on routes from Neryungri-gruzovaya to Nizhnii Bestyakh.

His older brother, Viktor Sharin "Byyka Uus", shared the secrets of blacksmithing with him, passing down a tradition that has been in the family for generations. Sharinu's life motto, "a healthy body houses a healthy mind", is reflected in both his work and hobbies. He graduated from Yakut Professional Lyceum No. 7 in 2008 with a degree in "Forestry Master" and later earned a degree in "Technical Exploitation of Rolling Stock" from the Ryabzholov Transport Technical School in Nizhnii Bestyakh in 2021.
