Rapid increase in mobile internet speed on rural estates observed

These changes are designed to support digital transformation and expand internet access benefits to all customers, including those in rural and suburban areas like Rezh, Pervouralsk, and Nev'yansk.
In the Rezh district, new base stations have been installed near the "Ural Sunrise" and "Metallurg-2" dacha cooperatives. Residents can now enjoy faster internet speeds, enabling smoother social media use, streaming, and browsing. Reliable internet connectivity and data speeds up to 50 Mbps are now available for dacha owners in the Rezh district.
Aleksey Zhenikhov, Director of Megafon in the Sverdlovsk region, confirmed these developments. Dacha owners in the region can now quickly place online orders, watch gardening videos, and share their achievements on social media and messengers.
In addition, residents of Yekaterinburg can now make phone calls and access the internet simultaneously, thanks to the implementation of VoLTE voice transmission technology in 4G networks. A 4G signal has also been established at Manturov Kamen in the village of Lipino.
However, no new information about the availability of new base stations in Asbest and Yekaterinburg, the operation of installed communication objects in several frequency bands, or VoLTE voice transmission technology was provided in the available sources.
