Rare 1986 Ferrari Testarossa 'Monospecchio' in Bianco Heads to Auction
RM Sotheby's is set to auction a rare 1980s design icon, the Ferrari Testarossa 'Monospecchio' in Bianco, on October 18, 2025, in Munich. This specific model, powered by a 4.9-liter V12 engine, is one of just 15 ever made.
The 'Monospecchio' is distinguished by its high-mounted, single driver-side mirror. This unique feature, along with its striking Bianco colour, makes it a standout among Ferrari cars. The car's first owner, whose identity remains undisclosed, took delivery in Calabria in June 1986, courtesy of Pietro Masino & Figli.
The engine, rebuilt in March 2022, has had various components replaced and seals renewed. The car comes with a Ferrari Classiche certification, a complete service history, and a mileage of 55,318 km. It's expected to fetch between 300,000 to 400,000 euros.
The Ferrari Testarossa 'Monospecchio' in Bianco is not just a car; it's a piece of automotive history. With its iconic design, powerful engine, and rare status, it's a dream for collectors. The upcoming auction at the Munich Motorworld presents a unique opportunity to own a slice of the 1980s.
