Oasis Reunion Tour Kicks Off, Gallagher Brothers Rehearse Separately

London, May 25 - The much-anticipated Oasis reunion tour is imminent, with the Britpop legends expected to take the stage together for the first time in 16 years this summer. The tour, which starts on July 4 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, will visit several major UK and Ireland cities, including Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, with the final UK show scheduled for August 17 in Dublin. The tour will then move to North America, Asia, Australia, and South America, running through late November 2025.

The reunion tour lineup includes the core members Noel and Liam Gallagher, alongside guitarist Andy Bell. Bell's inclusion adds to the lineup supporting the Gallagher brothers during the tour. Rehearsals for the reunion tour have begun, with Noel Gallagher, Gem Archer, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, and Andy Bell recently spotted entering a London studio. Keyboardist Mikey Rowe, who played with Oasis in the 1990s, was also present.

However, Liam Gallagher was conspicuously absent from the rehearsals, with reports suggesting he is currently in the South of France. Drummer Joe Waronker, believed to be one of the "new faces" teased by Liam, was not seen at the rehearsal either. The band is reportedly maintaining some distance, with separate VIP areas and after-parties for the siblings, reflecting the complexities of their relationship.

Despite their infamous feud, the Gallagher brothers were recently seen filming in a London pub, presumably for a promotional video. Liam has previously confirmed his return to the band, having performed with Oasis until their split in 2009 and later with Beady Eye.

Recent reports suggest that decisions about the band's future will be made by Liam and Noel, dismissing the role of manager Alec McKinlay, who had suggested that the tour was a "last time around." Liam has pushed back on those claims via social media, indicating that the band may not rule out new music or further tours beyond this reunion. However, for now, fans have this reunion tour to look forward to.

In the midst of the upcoming Oasis reunion tour, the financial risks and prospects for the Britpop industry are high as the tour could potentially boost manufacturing and technology sectors due to merchandise sales and increased music streaming. Furthermore, the news of the Gallagher brothers' separate rehearsals underscores the ongoing tension in their relationship, with the future of the band possibly hinging on finance-driven decisions rather than managerial ones, according to recent reports.
