UiPath Reports Fiscal Year 2025 Results and Announces Acquisition of Peak AI Limited

UiPath, a leading robotic process automation (RPA) company, has released its financial results for the fiscal year 2025, showing a slight increase in revenues and a decrease in losses.

The company reported revenues of USD 1.4 billion for the fiscal year 2025, a slight increase from USD 1.3 billion in the previous year. Despite this growth, the financial results and outlook appear to have disappointed investors, as UiPath's shares have recently dropped.

For the last quarter, UiPath reported revenues of USD 423 million and a profit of USD 52 million. The company's losses for the fiscal year 2025 decreased from USD 90 million to USD 74 million.

UiPath's CEO, Daniel Dines, cited progress in stabilizing the go-to-market organization, revitalizing customer-centricity, accelerating innovation, and deepening relationships with strategic partners as key factors in the company's financial performance.

In a move aimed at accelerating AI adoption in various sectors, UiPath has acquired Peak AI Limited, a Manchester-based company that developed an AI platform for optimizing inventory and pricing for a diverse clientele. This acquisition is part of UiPath's "Act II," which involves Agentic Automation, a technology that allows AI to perform complex and unstructured tasks.

The 2025 fiscal year has been the most innovative year in UiPath's recent history, with the introduction of new AI capabilities such as Autopilot, Agent Builder, Agentic Orchestration, and Agentic Testing. These new capabilities are expected to further enhance UiPath's RPA offerings and position the company as a leader in the AI automation market.

UiPath, which has approximately 4,000 employees worldwide, has a market capitalization of USD 6.5 billion. The company's headquarters are in New York, with 1,100 of its employees based in Romania.

However, UiPath recently dismantled its Quality Assurance department in Bucharest, terminating or transferring employees, except for those working on Studio Desktop. The Quality Assurance team, which had around 25 members, was affected by this decision, which is part of a transition from human testing to fully automated testing.

The acquisition does not affect the QA team working on UiPath's main product, Studio Desktop, who will be retained for the next 12 months. The search results do not contain information about the new head of the qualified automation department at UiPath after the dissolution of the quality assurance unit in Bucharest.

Peak AI Limited's AI platform simplifies inventory and pricing processes without the need for extensive in-house technical teams, making it an attractive acquisition for UiPath. The company's CEO, Daniel Dines, referred to this acquisition as a "significant milestone" in UiPath's journey towards becoming the leading AI automation company.
