Samsung Galaxy XR Headset Set to Revolutionize VR Market on October 21
Samsung is set to unveil its latest innovation, the Galaxy Quest headset, on October 21. The tech giant has planned an online-only launch event for this new VR device.
The Galaxy Quest headset has been making waves in the tech world since its display at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit 2025 in September. Rumors suggest it will feature OLEDoS technology, offering a 1.3-inch display with impressive 90fps capabilities and a resolution of 3552×3840.
Samsung's president of device experience, Roh Tae-Moon, has hinted at the headset's comfort, stating it has 'good comfort' in terms of weight and wearability. The device, also known as 'Project Moohan,' is rumored to debut at a price point under Apple's Vision Pro headset.
Fans can expect to pre-register for the Galaxy Quest headset from October 15 to October 21, with the pre-registration period lasting for six days. Samsung is expected to initially release only 100,000 units of the headset.
The Samsung Galaxy Quest headset promises to be a game-changer in the VR market. With its advanced display technology, comfortable design, and competitive pricing, it's set to give Apple's Vision Pro a run for its money. Tech enthusiasts can mark their calendars for the online launch event on October 21.
