Scalekit Secures $5.5M for AI Agent Authentication in Enterprise
AI identity infrastructure firm Scalekit has secured USD $5.5 million in seed funding, led by Together Fund and Z47, with angel investors also participating. The company's authentication services are already in use by several organizations, including Fello, Sifthub, Napkin, Unstract, Hubbl, and Aerchain.
Scalekit's solution is designed to authenticate and manage the access of autonomous AI agents in enterprise environments. It offers modular authentication features such as email-based magic links, two-factor authentication, and single sign-on, making it effective in scenarios where conventional identity systems are ineffective.
The company's product roadmap includes expansion of agent-centric features and deeper integrations for tool-calling. Scalekit's authentication stack enables businesses to authenticate AI agents in incoming scenarios, such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and manages outgoing agent actions to third-party tools. As AI agents, like chatgpt and gemini, become more sophisticated and prevalent, Scalekit is committed to developing tooling to accommodate their increasing range of use within enterprise IT environments.
