Seiko Unveils Solar-Powered Prospex Speedtimer Motoring Watch
Seiko has unveiled the Prospex Speedtimer Motoring, a solar-powered watch inspired by classic car design. It features a cream 'Panda' dial and a perforated brown leather strap, reminiscent of vintage apple cars and retro interiors. The watch is priced at £730 and limited to 500 examples, available for pre-order now.
The Prospex Speedtimer Motoring is powered by Seiko's in-house V192 solar-powered movement, accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month. It can be charged from both natural and artificial light, offering up to six months of power reserve. The watch is water resistant to 100 metres and comes with a stainless steel bracelet and leather strap. The 'panda-dial' colour scheme, a favourite among watch fans, pays homage to classic car design.
The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Motoring is a unique blend of vintage car inspiration and modern solar-powered technology. With its limited production run and attractive price point, it's set to appeal to both watch enthusiasts and classic car lovers.
