Sony Honda Mobility Unveils afeela 1 in California, Offers Test Drives and Reservations
Sony Honda Mobility has opened its first studio in Corte Madera, California, offering locals a sneak peek at its innovative electric vehicle, the afeela 1. The grand opening event on March 29 showcased the vehicle's advanced technology and entertainment features, with President and CEO Shugo Yamaguchi emphasising the company's commitment to innovation.
The afeela 1 is set to be produced in Ohio and will begin deliveries in California in 2026. Visitors to the afeela Studio Corte Madera can explore the vehicle up close and even place reservations with a fully refundable fee of $200. The studio is open for a limited three-month run, with walk-ins welcome and appointments available for demonstrations. The vehicle will be available in two trims: the afeela 1 Origin starting at $89,900 and the afeela 1 Signature priced at $102,900. The studio offers live demonstrations by knowledgeable experts, allowing visitors to experience the vehicle's innovative technology firsthand.
The afeela Studio Corte Madera is open Monday - Friday: 10 AM - 8 PM PT, Saturday: 10 AM - 7 PM PT, and Sunday: 11 AM - 6 PM PT. This is a unique opportunity for Northern California residents to engage with the next generation of mobility technology before its official release in 2026.
