Statement from Guidehouse on US AI Action Plan Emphasizes Need for Trust, Innovation, and Strategic Leadership in Governance

In a recent press release issued by Guidehouse, the global AI-led professional services firm has expressed its support for the White House's newly released America's AI Action Plan.

The plan, considered a pivotal step towards securing U.S. leadership in artificial intelligence, focuses on infrastructure modernization, regulatory innovation, and global competitiveness. John Saad, Guidehouse President, stated that these priorities reflect Guidehouse's mission.

Guidehouse, which operates in various markets including healthcare, financial services, energy, infrastructure, and national security, is committed to helping organizations operationalize these priorities. The firm aims to ensure AI delivers measurable value while protecting the public interest.

With approximately 18,000 professionals working to help clients across industries outwit complexity, Guidehouse has invested $1.5 billion in AI. This investment has been used to advance agentic AI, launch an AI Center of Excellence, and accelerate AI-readiness across clients and teams.

The firm advocates for a national AI ecosystem that ensures systems are bias-mitigated, privacy-protected, and audit-ready before deployment in critical domains. Trust, transparency, and accountability are essential for AI systems, especially in sectors where lives, livelihoods, and national security are at stake.

Innovation and governance should move in lockstep, according to Stuart Brown, Guidehouse Technology Leader. The firm supports the plan's recommendations to establish regulatory sandboxes, fast-track procurement pathways, mobilize shared infrastructure, launch a national AI Production Board, and promote U.S.-led global AI governance frameworks.

Guidehouse also emphasises that speed in AI adoption must be matched with safeguards, ensuring AI systems serve the public good. The press release was distributed by Cision PR Newswire and can be found at this link.

On a separate note, Guidehouse has shown interest in the German Gaia-X Hub, an organisation that promotes a national AI ecosystem. This ecosystem ensures systems are protected against bias, data privacy issues, and accountability before use in critical areas by establishing secure, open, and transparent data infrastructures with fixed standards and open interfaces, complying with GDPR and enabling trustworthy AI deployment.

Guidehouse's goal is to achieve lasting impact and shape a meaningful future. The firm drives efficiency and resilience in the markets they operate in, aiming to contribute to a resilient, citizen-centered AI economy. For media inquiries, Cecile Fradkin can be contacted at [email protected].
