Electra Launches Affordable Summer Charging Offer Across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

Electra, a leading European provider of fast charging stations for electric vehicles, has announced a summer offer aimed at making EV travel during holidays practical, reliable, and affordable in the German-speaking DACH region.

The summer offer started on August 13, 2025, and will run until September 30, 2025. During this period, EV drivers can enjoy fast charging at a promotional price of €0.39 or CHF 0.39 per kilowatt-hour via the Electra app. Without registration through the app, the price remains higher at €0.69 per kWh.

Electra has strategically placed charging hubs at key locations, offering up to 400 kW charging power and minimal wait times. Initial locations include Grafelfing near Munich and Dortmund. These charging hubs feature unique illuminating masts that indicate the occupancy status of charging points from a distance. Electra plans to rapidly expand with hundreds of new charging parks across Germany in the coming years.

Paul Tonini, Country Manager of Electra Germany, commented on the summer offer, saying, "We are committed to making electromobility affordable and accessible for everyone. Our summer offer is designed to provide an attractive vacation offer for electric car drivers, making their journeys more enjoyable and stress-free."

Alessandro Inderbitzin, General Manager for the DACH region, also commented on the summer offer and Electra's contribution to practical electromobility, stating, "We are delighted to bring our summer offer to the DACH region. We believe that our commitment to creating tailored, reliable, and fair charging offers will greatly benefit electric vehicle drivers during their summer vacations."

Electra has been continuously expanding its fast charging network in Germany since the beginning of 2025. The company, which has been operating since 2020, has more than 500 charging parks and 3,000 charging points in ten countries. Electra's charging stations are renowned for their reliable charging processes and seamless, intuitive user experience.

The summer offer expansion in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland underscores Electra's commitment to creating tailored, reliable, and fair charging offers for electric vehicle drivers throughout Europe.
