The Commtiva N700 Android tablet, a budget-friendly device, made its entrance into the tech scene around 2012. Primarily available in markets like India, it also found its way into the US through online retailers.

The N700 boasted a 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, it was powered by an ARM Cortex-A8 processor clocked at 1 GHz, a single-core CPU. The tablet ran on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which was shortly to be outdated by the time it entered markets, as Android 2.3 Gingerbread was available. However, it could be upgraded unofficially to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The N700 came with 512 MB of RAM and an internal storage of 4 GB, expandable via a microSD card slot supporting up to 32 GB.
