Taylor Hobson Unveils LUPHOScan 75 HD: Revolutionizing Small Lens Measurement
Taylor Hobson has introduced the LUPHOScan 75 HD, a groundbreaking automated system for non-contact 3D measurement of small lenses. This innovation promises to revolutionise production workflows by delivering unparalleled speed, accuracy, and repeatability.
The LUPHOScan 75 HD utilises a spiral scanning approach and an air-bearing spindle to measure complex geometries smoothly. Its fully automatic centering and leveling table ensures quick and consistent alignment in as little as 45 seconds. The system boasts exceptional accuracy with repeatability better than ≤ 30 nm PV (3σ) and superior stability with power variation of ± 15 nm (3σ) and PV variation of ± 1.5 nm (3σ).
Taylor Hobson has integrated Focal Point Pivot (FPP) technology, reducing measurement cycle times by up to 65%. The full workflow, from alignment to analysis, is completed in under 120 seconds, significantly boosting production throughput. The LUPHOScan 75 HD sets new benchmarks for speed, accuracy, and repeatability in optical metrology, making it ideal for both R&D labs and production lines.
Developed by Qimaging and launched in 2021, the LUPHOScan 75 HD is designed for high-volume production of small optical components used in smartphones, medical devices, AR/VR systems, and advanced imaging technologies. By eliminating bottlenecks and accelerating workflow efficiency, this system is poised to transform the optical metrology landscape.
