Taza Qazaqstan Road Relay Launches in Almaty, Uniting for Kazakhstan's Green Future

The 'Taza Qazaqstan' road relay, a significant environmental initiative, kicked off in the Almaty region. The event aims to unite activists and locals in cleaning up and promoting environmental responsibility, with key figures emphasising global threats and individual responsibility.

Daulet Karibek, executive secretary of the Amanat party, stressed the importance of global environmental threats and the need for individual responsibility. He is a key coordinator of the 'Taza Qazaqstan' initiative, focusing on sustainable practices and community engagement. The relay combines nature protection, cultural heritage preservation, and environmental patriotism cultivation.

The relay, which will cover over a thousand kilometers through Almaty, Shymkent, Zhambyl, Turkestan, and Kyzylorda regions over a week, includes cleanups, meetings with the population, youth events, and landscaping of significant memorials. Activists and volunteers will use drone data to clean up along the route and adjacent territories, with collected waste transported to landfills. Nikita Shatalov, deputy majilis member, highlighted the unity and responsibility fostered by the environmental relay. Mansur Oshurbayev, vice-minister of ecology, noted the President's support for the project and its potential to make Kazakhstan greener.

The 'Taza Qazaqstan' road relay, with its grand opening in the Almaty region, is set to cover over a thousand kilometers, fostering unity and responsibility among participants. With the President's support, the initiative aims to make Kazakhstan greener through collective environmental efforts.
