Tesla Brings Cybertruck to Middle East Amidst Growing EV Demand
Tesla has expanded its Cybertruck offerings to the Middle East, with customers in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE now able to place orders. The electric pickup truck's introduction to the region coincides with a surge in demand for premium EVs, driven by government initiatives and charging infrastructure investments.
The Cybertruck's Middle East launch follows its introduction in South Korea last August, where it was initially offered in All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and Cyberbeast trims. Customers in the Gulf region can also choose between these two variants.
The Cyberbeast, Tesla's flagship trim, boasts impressive performance with a 0-100 km/h time of just 2.7 seconds. The AWD trim is no slouch either, achieving the same speed in 4.3 seconds, and offering an estimated range of 523 km. Both trims provide substantial towing capacity, up to 4,990 kg for the AWD.
Pricing in Saudi Arabia starts at SAR 434,990 for the Cybertruck AWD and SAR 484,990 for the Cyberbeast. Deliveries of the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) Cybertruck, launched in Saudi Arabia in April, are expected in late 2025.
Tesla's expansion of the Cybertruck to the Middle East signals the company's commitment to growing its presence in the region's burgeoning EV market. With competitive pricing and impressive performance, the Cybertruck is poised to make a significant impact in the Gulf's premium EV segment.
