Tesla Kicks Off New Supercharger Site in Coquitlam, BC
Tesla has started work on a new Supercharger site in Coquitlam, Columbia. The site is expected to have between 12 and 16 stalls and will feature Tesla's latest V4 Supercharger technology with V3 cabinets, offering speeds up to 325 kW.
The Coquitlam Supercharger is located at 2773 Barnet Highway, across from Korna Pet Store, along the busy Barnet Highway corridor. This strategic location will provide easy access for both local residents and long-distance drivers, helping to reduce congestion at nearby stations in Burnaby, Surrey, and North Vancouver.
Construction has recently begun, with fencing and equipment already on site. Tesla has not provided an official timeline for completion, but fans and potential users can stay updated by checking the official Tesla website, local news sources, or social media platforms dedicated to Tesla and electric mobility.
The new Coquitlam Supercharger, once completed, will offer a convenient charging option for Tesla owners in the area, helping to alleviate pressure on nearby stations and supporting the growing network of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in British Columbia.
