Unveiled in 2017, the high-performance Mercedes-AMG E 63 and E63 S models boast 4-wheel drive, a powerful 604 brake horsepower, and an impressive 0-62 miles per hour acceleration in just 3.4 seconds.
Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the latest additions to its E-Class lineup, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63 S. These high-performance models boast a more lairy design and impressive power under the hood.
The new E63 models feature a bold and aggressive look, with big flared wheel arches, big alloys, an AMG body kit, and a scalloped bonnet. Inside, the vehicles are adorned with carbon fibre trim, leather, and Alcantara, along with mood lighting to create an ambience of luxury and sophistication.
Under the hood, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 S is equipped with a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers an impressive 604bhp and 626lb/ft of torque. The E63, on the other hand, boasts a slightly less powerful but still formidable 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 563bhp and 553lb/ft of torque. Both models come with Mercedes' dual-clutch nine-speed automatic gearbox.
The increased power and rapid 0-62mph sprint time in both models (3.5 seconds) are due to the switch to 4WD. Mercedes also announced the arrival of 4MATIC 4WD on the E 220 d.
The 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63 S will go on sale at Mercedes' UK dealers in January 2017, with first customer cars expected by early summer. The E63 saloon is priced at £78,935 in the UK, while the E63 S saloon and estate are priced at £83,740 and £85,530, respectively.
The new E63 and E63 S are expected to arrive as an estate by early next year. The 2013 facelift for the E 63 AMG was revealed by Mercedes in January, and the 2013 Mercedes E63 AMG S was the most powerful E-Class ever built, with 577bhp. The 2013 Mercedes E63 AMG saloon and Estate, along with the E63 AMG S, debuted at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
It should be noted that the search results do not provide information about which car trading company offered the Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC+ to its dealers in the UK in January 2017.
The new Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63 S are sure to turn heads with their powerful engines, luxurious interiors, and aggressive design. These models are set to redefine the high-performance sedan and estate segment.
