Vestiaire Collective Names Lauren Picciano as New Head of Global Communications

Vestiaire Collective, the leading global online marketplace for desirable pre-loved fashion, has appointed Lauren Picciano as its new Head of Global Communications. Picciano, who brings over 15 years of luxury fashion public relations experience, will be based in New York and oversee the brand's communications strategy across multiple channels. She replaces Nicole Bleich in this role.

Picciano joins Vestiaire Collective from Saks, where she oversaw public relations, celebrity, and influencer relations. Her appointment comes as the brand looks to expand its news and impact in North America and globally. She will report to Marie-Christin Oebel, Vestiaire's global chief marketing officer.

Vestiaire Collective has been building on its established partnerships with luxury brands. In March, it launched Gucci Preloved with Gucci, following previous collaborations with Alexander McQueen and other Kering brands. The company aims to leverage Picciano's expertise to further strengthen these relationships and attract new customers to its platform.

Picciano's appointment is part of Vestiaire Collective's ongoing growth strategy. The company, which received a $216 million investment from Kering and Tiger Global Management in 2021, continues to expand its team and presence in key markets. With Samina Virk at the helm as CEO for North America, Picciano's role will be crucial in amplifying Vestiaire Collective's voice and reach in the region and beyond.
