VLF Mobster 135 Scooter Garners 1,000 Bookings in 48 Hours

VLF has created a stir in the Indian two-wheeler market with its latest offering, the Mobster 135. Within just 48 hours of its launch, the scooter has garnered an impressive 1,000 bookings. Priced at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), it's the most powerful and feature-packed scooter in the 125cc segment.

Assembled in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, using completely knocked-down (CKD) kits, the Mobster 135 balances European design with cost control. It boasts a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, auto start-stop, LED lighting, and illuminated switches. Under the hood, its 12.1 bhp engine propels it to a claimed top speed of 105 kmph, making it the segment's most powerful scooter.

The Mobster 135's design is inspired by streetfighter motorcycles, featuring muscular body panels and twin projector headlamps. It's priced higher than regular 125 cc scooters but lower than premium imports. VLF offers a 4-year/40,000 km warranty and one year of roadside assistance. Notably, it's the first scooter in its category to feature traction control, along with standard dual-channel ABS.

Priced at ₹1.30 lakh, it's set to increase to ₹1.38 lakh after the first 2,500 units.
