Zeekr 9X SUV Launches in China, Sells 10,000 Units in 13 Minutes
Zeekr, a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) startup, has launched its luxurious SUV, the Zeekr 9X, in the Chinese market. The vehicle has garnered significant attention, receiving over 10,000 firm orders within the first 13 minutes of its availability. The Zeekr 9X is priced at RMB 465,900 (around $A99,000) in China.
The Zeekr 9X boasts impressive performance features. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in a mere 3.1 seconds and offers a pure electric range of 380 kilometres. The vehicle is built on the SEA-S 'Super Hybrid' system and has a 900V high-voltage architecture, ensuring smooth and stable driving even on rough terrain, thanks to the Haohan AI Digital Chassis.
The Zeekr 9X also stands out for its advanced safety features, including the Haohan Safety Armor system. It offers 'ultra-fast' charging, with a 20 to 80 per cent charge in just 8.5 minutes. Inside, the vehicle features a three-row six-seater interior with Cloud Lounge seats, a 17-inch OLED screen, and a 3,800W Naim audio system for a premium driving experience.
Zeekr Australia is considering bringing the Zeekr 9X to Australia and plans to expand its range to include hybrid models. The international car brand likely to take over the sales rights for the Zeekr 9X in Australia is Geely.
The Zeekr 9X, with its advanced features, impressive performance, and luxurious interior, has made a strong debut in the Chinese stock market today. Its success has led to discussions about its potential introduction in the Australian stock market.
